Sodium sorbate is an organic compound used in the feed

and food industries. Its water solubility is excellent. In the food industry, it is used as a preservative known as E201.

In particular, it is added to foodstuffs such as confectionery,

bread, wine, cider and fruit salads.

It protects feeds against moulding, reduces the number

of microorganisms and protects feeds from heat and loss

of nutrients.
