Dodecanoic Acid

Lauric acid, also known as dodecanoic acid, is an organic compound. It is a natural ingredient of coconut oil and bay laurel fruit. It is a safe and non-toxic substance. It is widely used in the manufacture of animal feeds and skin care products, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.

Lauric acid added to feeds as an emulsifier and a preservative.

In the case of animals, it prevents digestive system infections caused by bacteria that can induce gastric ulcers. It is equally effective in removing parasites from farm animals.

In the cosmetics and skin care industries, lauric acid is used to make detergents, cosmetics, deodorants and insect repellents.

It in an important ingredient in cosmetics for acne-affected skin, as it helps treat acne and rashes. It has a soothing effect on the skin and accelerates micro-damage healing. Lauric acid also soothes itchy skin caused by insect bites and helps treat hair

loss and athlete's foot.
